Take A Look at What We Found



On Tuesday 21st July we went on safari in the school yard and we did it because we wanted to learn about bugs. We discovered flying ants in zone 5 and they lived in the dry hard soil and flying ants are queen ants. We also discovered worms in zone 3. We also discovered a dead moth in zone 6. It was in the dry hard soil. by Grace

On Tuesday 21st July we went on safari in the school yard. We went to find insects. 
Ants were found in zones 1, 5 and 6. An ants nest was also found in zone 6. We also found flying ants in zone 5. by Henry















On Tuesday 21st July, we went on safari. The safari was in the school yard. We did it because we wanted to look at insects. A fly was found in zone 3. There was also an ants nest found in zone 6. Worms were found in zones 2 and 4. 
Worms are slimy.  They have lots of segments. they live in the soil of garden beds. by Zoe

Backyard Safari



Over the holidays I went on a safari in my back yard. Take a close look at the photos to discover the animals that visit my yard. I wonder what I will find if I take a really close look in the yard?
